  • The Stem Cell Biology Masters Program, graduated four students this year, joining a total of 60-degree awardees since the program’s inception 8 years ago. Two are poised to start medical training and two are employed in academic research labs. Six new students will join the program in August.

  • The Department of Biomedical Engineering and the Stem Cell Institute partnered to bring the Inaugural Stem Cell Bioengineering Seminar featuring Sharon Gerecht, Professor of the Departments of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering and Oncology, Johns Hopkins University.

  • The Stem Cell Institute hosted the 6th Annual Engineering-Stem Cell Institute Joint Symposium, June 28, 2018. This year the theme was “Exploring Microtechnology and Robotics in Stem Cell Biology: Microfluidics, Micropatterning and Microfabrication.”

  • The Stem Cell Institute will again be at the State Fair – the “Great Minnesota Get-Together,” August 26, 2018.
